Sofirn SC29 3000 Lumen 142m Throw Rechargeable Flashlight with 21700 Battery Description
The Sofirn SC29 3000 Lumen 142m Throw Rechargeable Flashlight with 21700 Battery is a compact, high-performance EDC light designed for outdoor activities, ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency use. For example, its 3000-lumen output can illuminate a path up to 142 meters during a night hike, ensuring reliable visibility. With a Type-C charging port, a unique concave switch, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SC29 for Outdoor Use suits campers, hikers, and EDC enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Sofirn SC29 features a Cree XHP50.2 LED, delivering a maximum output of 3000 lumens with a beam throw of 142 meters, powered by a single 21700 Li-ion battery (5000mAh, included). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a concave side switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

• Turbo: 3000 lumens for approximately 4 hours (steps down after initial high output)
• High: 1000 lumens for approximately 5 hours
• Medium: 300 lumens for approximately 10 hours
• Low: 30 lumens for approximately 50 hours
• Moonlight: 1 lumen for approximately 100 hours
• Strobe: 3000 lumens (runtime not specified)
The flashlight charges via a built-in Type-C port in about 5 hours with a 5V/2A charger, featuring a battery indicator (green for sufficient charge, red for low). It is IP68 waterproof (submersible to 2m) and 1m impact-resistant, with Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) technology to adjust brightness when the temperature reaches 55°C, though it may get warm on Turbo, requiring careful handling. This makes the SC29 a versatile choice for outdoor use, though users should manage heat and ensure proper charging.

Durable and Compact Design
The Sofirn SC29 is constructed from AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized finish, offering durability for rugged outdoor conditions like camping or hiking. It measures approximately 120mm in length with a head diameter of 31.8mm, weighing 80g without the battery (approximately 200g with the included 21700 battery), making it compact and pocket-friendly for EDC. The flashlight features a TIR optic for a smooth beam, a concave side switch to reduce accidental activation, and a magnetic tailcap for hands-free use on metal surfaces, though the switch’s design may require adjustment to avoid unintended clicks. This makes the SC29 a durable, compact choice for outdoor use, though users should handle the switch carefully.

Designed for Outdoor and EDC Use
The Sofirn SC29 3000 Lumen 142m Throw Rechargeable Flashlight with 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for campers, hikers, and EDC enthusiasts needing a reliable, compact light for outdoor activities, emergencies, or daily tasks. For example, its 142m throw can light up a campsite, while the 100-hour Moonlight mode ensures extended use for reading, though the concave switch’s triple-click lockout may be less intuitive, and the step-down from Turbo after initial output may limit high-intensity duration. The IP68 rating, Type-C charging, and reverse polarity protection enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity. The SC29’s affordable price, included battery, and ergonomic design make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for mode navigation and heat management.

Note: Ensure the flashlight is locked (triple-click the concave switch) after use to prevent accidental activation, which could drain the battery; the switch’s design reduces but does not eliminate this risk. Use the included 21700 battery with proper polarity (positive terminal toward the head). The IPX8 rating ensures submersion up to 2m, but avoid prolonged exposure beyond this limit. Handle with care during Turbo mode to avoid burns due to heat buildup, and do not shine the light directly into eyes due to its intensity. Store in a dry place to maintain reliability.
