Firebird FH61 D2 Folding Knife Description
The Firebird FH61 D2 folding knife, launched by Ganzo in 2015, is a top EDC choice. For example, its 7cm D2 steel blade offers durability and sharpness. Plus, the G10 handle ensures a secure grip. Therefore, this Firebird FH61 EDC pocket knife, weighing just 100g, is perfect for camping, hunting, or daily tasks, as praised by knife enthusiasts.
High-Quality Blade Performance
This knife features a 7cm Clip-Point blade made of D2 steel with 58-60 HRC hardness. For instance, D2’s high carbon and chromium content resists corrosion. Meanwhile, its 3.5mm thickness handles tough loads. Thus, the Firebird FH61 D2 folding knife delivers reliable cutting power for any task, from outdoor adventures to household chores.
Ergonomic Handle Design
The Firebird FH61 D2 folding knife has a 10cm G10 handle in black, green, gray, or carbon fiber. Plus, G10 offers impact and moisture resistance. The textured grip, steel liners, and Torx screws ensure durability. Additionally, a lanyard hole and removable clip make it easy to carry, enhancing its everyday usability.
Smooth and Safe Operation with the Firebird FH61 D2 Tactical Knife
Opening the blade is effortless with the flipper or thumb hole. For example, the flipper has anti-slip cuts for control. Meanwhile, the Liner-Lock mechanism secures the blade safely. Thus, this Firebird FH61 D2 tactical knife suits tourists, military, or anyone needing a versatile tool for daily or extreme use.
Key Features and Specs
This knife is built for performance. For instance, its 17.1cm total length makes it portable. Plus, the D2 steel blade and G10 handle ensure longevity. Moreover, Ganzo offers a 1-year warranty, making the Firebird FH61 D2 folding knife a reliable choice.

FB FH61 very happy with the action and quality of the blade
-
Smaller, aggressive looking but comfortable I bought this because the web reviews seemed to indicate its a really good option. Not a fan of these aggressive blade styles and smaller handle, so its disappears a bit in my palm, but the finger choil makes it an excellent biltong knife or short close up work knife. So you can focus on the blade work but the pressure is on the forefingers and thumb. Will make the grip more tiring if used for long periods. But if you have smaller hands its perfect. The flip action is much better than the FH91 and on par with the FH41. I got the grey/blue finish which i prefer.

FH61 D2 Absolutely great little knife, carry’s easily and very light, super sharp out the box. Very nice edc
-
Great knife I absolutely love this little knife with the easy open action.
-
Tantobowie goodness Razor sharp out of the box (as with all FH series knives! – more expensive manufacturers could learn a thing or two from Ganzo…). Handle width a tad wider than I was expecting but not a deal breaker. Detent on my knife is quite stiff – which makes for VERY snappy open, but limits thumb opening, which given the design of the “thumbhole”, I don’t think was an option anyway. Feels very well built, should be a great beater knife.
