The Olight Osight 3 MOA is the original Osight open-emitter reflex sight, built on the industry-standard Ruggedized Miniature Reflex (RMR / 407C / 507C) footprint. It is available in red or green 3 MOA dot, with a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote housing. Designed for full-size and compact pistols used for tactical shooting, hunting and range work. Subcompact slides are not recommended.

The 3 MOA dot sits in a large 0.94 × 0.85 inch window for fast target acquisition. Brightness has 12 settings (10 daylight + 2 night vision) in Manual, Lockout or Auto-Sensing modes. Auto-Sensing matches ambient light. A motion sensor turns the optic on when movement is detected and off after 10 minutes of inactivity. Motion sense can be toggled by double-pressing and holding the “–” button for more than 3 seconds (one flash = on, two flashes = off).

Power comes from the built-in rechargeable battery plus the Magnetic Charging Cover. Runtime is over 70,000 hours on the lowest setting, or about 17 days on the brightest. A fully charged cover can recharge the optic about three times and extends usable runtime to over 70 days. The cover charges by USB-C (about 3 hours at 5V/2A) and shows battery percentage for both cover and optic. The optic itself uses a tri-colour battery indicator (green ≥60%, orange 10–60%, red 5–10%, flashing red <5%).

The housing is 7075 aluminum with FDE Cerakote. The optic is IPX6 water-resistant; the charging cover is IPX4. Adjustments are made with the included tool. Use medium/blue threadlocker and torque mounting screws to 17 in-lbs, especially when an adapter plate is used.
