The Sofirn SP31V3 2000 Lumen 269m Throw Rechargeable Flashlight with 18650 Battery is a compact, tactical EDC light designed for outdoor activities, ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency use. For example, its 2000-lumen output can illuminate a trail up to 269 meters during a night hike, ensuring reliable visibility. With built-in USB-C charging, a dual-switch interface, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SP31V3 for Outdoor Use suits campers, hikers, and tactical enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Sofirn SP31V3 features a Cree SST40 LED, delivering a maximum output of 2000 lumens with a beam throw of 269 meters, powered by a single 18650 Li-ion battery (3000mAh, included). It offers eight modes, controlled by a tactical tail switch and side e-switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

• Turbo: 2000 lumens for approximately 2 hours 10 minutes (steps down after 40 seconds to manage heat)
• High: 900 lumens for approximately 2 hours 10 minutes
• Medium: 300 lumens for approximately 5 hours 50 minutes
• Low: 15 lumens for approximately 120 hours
• Moonlight: 1 lumen for approximately 550 hours
• Strobe: 2000 lumens (runtime not specified)
• SOS: 2000 lumens (runtime not specified)
• Beacon: 2000 lumens (runtime not specified)
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port in about 4 hours, with a charging indicator (flashing red when below 30%, solid green when full). It is IP68 waterproof (submersible to 2m) and 1m impact-resistant, with a heat management system to prevent overheating, though it may get warm on Turbo, requiring careful handling. This makes the SP31V3 a versatile choice for outdoor use, though users should manage heat and ensure proper battery installation.

Durable and Compact Design
The Sofirn SP31V3 is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized finish, offering durability for rugged outdoor conditions like camping or hiking. It measures 122mm in length (4.80 inches) with a head diameter of 25mm (0.98 inches), weighing approximately 120g with the included 18650 battery, making it pocket-friendly for EDC. The flashlight features a TIR optic for a focused beam, a dual-switch design (tail for on/off, side for modes), a pocket clip for secure carry, and a lanyard hole for added security, though the clip may snag on fabric, suggesting careful placement. This makes the SP31V3 a durable, compact choice for outdoor use, though users should handle the clip with care.

Designed for Outdoor and Tactical Use
The Sofirn SP31V3 2000 Lumen 269m Throw Rechargeable Flashlight with 18650 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for campers, hikers, and tactical users needing a reliable, dual-switch light for outdoor activities, emergencies, or tactical scenarios. For example, its 269m throw can light up distant objects during a search, while the 550-hour Moonlight mode ensures extended use for reading, though the dual-switch UI requires practice to master mode changes, and the lack of a lockout function necessitates unscrewing the tailcap to prevent accidental activation. The IP68 rating, USB-C charging, and mode memory enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity. The SP31V3’s affordable price, included battery, and tactical design make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for UI familiarity and heat management.
