Reliable Ink for Tactical Pen Use
This 2-pack of black ink refills is specifically designed for the Powertac Scholar, a 140-lumen tactical pen light that combines a pen, flashlight, and glass breaker, as detailed on powertac.com. Each cartridge delivers smooth, consistent ink flow for writing, making it a practical choice for professionals who rely on the Scholar for both illumination and note-taking, as per brightguy.com. The refills are easy to install by unscrewing the pen’s writing tip and replacing the cartridge, ensuring minimal downtime, as noted on powertac.com. Some users on Amazon.com have reported issues with ink longevity, with one review stating, “Ink supply dries up fast,” suggesting users may need to stock extras for frequent use. These refills are perfect for maintaining the Scholar’s writing functionality in tactical, professional, or EDC scenarios.

Compact and Durable Design
The Powertac Scholar Refill Ink Cartridges are designed to fit seamlessly into the Scholar’s aircraft-grade aluminum body, which measures 5.75 x 0.5 x 0.5 inches, as per securetheperimeter.com. Each cartridge is compact, ensuring it doesn’t add bulk to the pen, and is built to withstand regular use, as inferred from the Scholar’s durable construction on powertac.com. The black ink is formulated for smooth writing, though some users on Amazon.com note the small cartridge size limits ink capacity, with one review mentioning, “Small cartridge… Maybe replaceable with larger cartridge, not sure.” This makes the refills a convenient accessory for the Scholar, though users may need to replace them more frequently if writing extensively, and finding compatible refills can be challenging due to the proprietary design.

Designed for Tactical and Professional Use
The Powertac Scholar Refill Ink Cartridges 2-Pack for Tactical Use supports the Powertac Scholar, a versatile tool used by law enforcement, first responders, and civilians for its 140-lumen flashlight, glass breaker, and writing capabilities, as per powertac.com. For example, the black ink refills ensure the pen remains functional for writing reports or notes in the field, complementing the Scholar’s tactical features, as noted on brightguy.com. The Scholar’s AAA battery-powered flashlight and sturdy build make it a reliable EDC tool, but some users on Amazon.com have expressed frustration with the proprietary cartridge size, with one review stating, “Small cartridge that no one carries… Staples and Office Depot don’t stock the cartridges.” These refills are ideal for law enforcement, students, or anyone needing a dependable writing tool in a tactical pen, though users should plan to keep spares due to the cartridge’s limited capacity.
