Powertac WOFT 1200 Lumen 240m Throw 14500 Rechargeable Flashlight Description
The Powertac WOFT 1200 Lumen 240m Throw 14500 Rechargeable Flashlight is a subcompact self-defense EDC light designed for everyday carry, ideal for tactical scenarios and outdoor activities. For example, its 1200-lumen output with a 240m throw can illuminate a dark alley during a night walk, ensuring safety in low-light conditions. With interchangeable bezels and magnetic charging, it offers versatile functionality. Featuring a lifetime warranty, this Powertac WOFT for Tactical Use suits law enforcement, self-defense users, and EDC enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Tactical and EDC Use
The Powertac WOFT delivers a maximum output of 1200 lumens using a Cree LED, with a beam throw of 240m and a peak intensity of 14,400 candela, making it perfect for illuminating distant objects during tactical or outdoor scenarios. It offers six brightness modes, with the following runtimes using the included 14500 battery:

• Turbo: 1200 lumens, 43 minutes
• High: 600 lumens, 47 minutes
• Medium: 140 lumens, 3.68 hours
• Low: 19 lumens, 22.5 hours
• Firefly: 0.4 lumens, 3.4 days
• Strobe: 1200 lumens, 1.18 hours
Powered by a single 14500 rechargeable lithium-ion battery (included), it features a magnetic charging system with a dual magnetic/micro-USB port, allowing for easy recharging (indicator changes from red to blue when complete). The flashlight is IPX7 waterproof (submersible to 1.5m) and impact-resistant to 1m, ensuring reliability in harsh conditions. Its compact size (111mm long) makes it ideal for pocket carry, though some users note the aggressive bezel option may catch on fabric during carry. This makes it a versatile choice for tactical and outdoor applications, though users should be mindful of the short Turbo runtime for extended use.

Durable and Compact Design
The Powertac WOFT is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized finish, ensuring durability and resistance to wear in rugged outdoor conditions. It measures 111mm in length (4.38 inches), with a 25.4mm bezel diameter and 21.5mm body diameter, weighing 60g without the battery, making it lightweight and easy to carry. The flashlight features a tempered glass lens with a double-coated design for maximum light output, and a precision O-ring sealed design for IPX7 waterproofing, protecting against submersion up to 1.5m. Its bidirectional clip allows for deep pocket carry or attachment to a hat brim for hands-free use, and the dual-switch interface (tail switch for on/off, side switch for modes) ensures easy operation. The kit includes three interchangeable bezels—smooth, scalloped, and aggressive—for self-defense customization, though the magnetic charging port can attract debris, requiring occasional cleaning. This makes it a durable, compact choice for EDC and tactical use, though users should keep the charging port clean for consistent performance.

Designed for Tactical and Outdoor Use
The Powertac WOFT for Tactical Use is tailored for law enforcement, self-defense users, and outdoor enthusiasts needing reliable illumination for activities like night walks, camping, or tactical scenarios. For example, its 1200-lumen Turbo mode can disorient an aggressor in a self-defense situation, while the Firefly mode (0.4 lumens) provides up to 3.4 days of runtime for extended use during emergencies. Designed in partnership with W.O.F.T., a premier personal safety and scenario-based training facility in the US, the WOFT’s quick-access strobe feature (via double-tap on the tail switch) is ideal for self-defense or signaling, and its aggressive bezel option enhances its utility as a striking tool. The flashlight’s compact size and high output make it ideal for EDC, and its ability to attach to a Picatinny rail (with a compatible mount, sold separately) suits tactical scenarios. It’s ideal for law enforcement, self-defense users, or anyone needing a compact, powerful flashlight for outdoor and tactical scenarios, offering a balance of brightness and portability, though its battery life on Turbo mode is limited to 43 minutes.
