The Sofirn SC28 2800 Lumen 223m Throw Rechargeable Flashlight with 21700 Battery is a compact, powerful tactical EDC light designed for outdoor activities, ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency use. For example, its 2800-lumen output can illuminate a path up to 223 meters during a night hike, ensuring reliable visibility. With USB-C charging, a tactical tail switch, and a durable build, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SC28 for Outdoor Use suits campers, hikers, and tactical enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Sofirn SC28 features an XHP50B LED with a color temperature of 6000K-6500K, delivering a maximum output of 2800 lumens with a beam throw of 223 meters, powered by a single 21700 Li-ion battery (5000mAh, included). It offers multiple modes across two user-selectable programs, controlled by a tactical tail switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

• Program 1 (Duty Mode):
  • Moonlight: 1 lumen for approximately 1000 hours
  • Low: 100 lumens for approximately 15 hours
  • Medium: 350 lumens for approximately 6 hours
  • High: 1200 lumens for approximately 2 hours
  • Turbo: 2800 lumens for approximately 1 hour (steps down to prevent overheating)
• Program 2 (Tactical Mode):
  • Turbo: 2800 lumens for approximately 1 hour
  • Strobe: 2800 lumens (runtime not specified)
  • Medium: 350 lumens for approximately 6 hours
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port in about 5 hours with a 2A charger, with a charge indicator (red while charging, green when full). It is IPX8 waterproof (submersible to 2m) and 1m impact-resistant, with Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) technology to automatically reduce brightness at 55°C, though it may get warm on Turbo, requiring careful handling. This makes the SC28 a versatile choice for outdoor use, though users should manage heat and program selection.

Durable and Compact Design
The Sofirn SC28 is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with a heat-treated anodized finish, offering durability for rugged outdoor conditions like camping or hiking. It measures 129mm in length (5.08 inches) with a head diameter of 29mm (1.14 inches), weighing 83g without the battery (approximately 250g with the included 21700 battery), making it sturdy yet portable for EDC. The flashlight features a high-transmittance lens, a U-shaped tactical tail switch for easy operation even with gloves, and a removable clip for secure carry, though its size may not suit pocket carry, suggesting use with a holster or bag. This makes the SC28 a durable, compact choice for outdoor use, though users should consider carry preferences.

Designed for Outdoor and Tactical Use
The Sofirn SC28 2800 Lumen 223m Throw Rechargeable Flashlight with 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for campers, hikers, and tactical users needing a reliable, high-output light for outdoor activities, emergencies, or tactical scenarios. For example, its 223m throw can light up distant objects during a search, while the 1000-hour Moonlight mode ensures extended use for reading, though the dual-program interface requires a 5-second wait and double-click to switch modes, which may be less intuitive, and the lack of a lockout function necessitates unscrewing the tailcap to prevent accidental activation. The IPX8 rating, USB-C charging, and low voltage protection enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity. The SC28’s affordable price, included battery, and tactical design make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for mode navigation and heat management.
