Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Sofirn SD08 features an SFT70 LED with a color temperature of 6500K, delivering a maximum output of 3200 lumens with a beam throw of 385 meters, powered by an included 21700 Li-ion battery (5000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a rotary switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

• High: 3200 lumens for approximately 2 hours
• Medium: 1000 lumens for approximately 4 hours
• Low: 300 lumens for approximately 8 hours
The flashlight requires an external charger for the included 21700 battery, with charging time varying based on the charger (approximately 5 hours with a standard charger), and includes a 360-degree RGB light indicator around the head for battery status and positioning. It is IP68 waterproof (suitable for depths up to 100 meters) and features a boost driver for stable output, though it may warm up during extended use, requiring careful handling.

Durable and Compact Design
The Sofirn SD08 is constructed from AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized finish, offering durability and corrosion resistance for underwater conditions like scuba diving or snorkeling. It measures 124.1mm in length (approximately 4.88 inches) with a head diameter of 37mm (1.46 inches), weighing 127g without the battery (approximately 177g with the included 21700 battery), making it portable for dive gear. The flashlight features a toughened glass cover, a rotary switch, and a lanyard for added security, though its compact size requires secure attachment to avoid loss underwater.

Designed for Outdoor and Diving Use
The Sofirn SD08 3200 Lumen 385m Throw Rechargeable Diving Flashlight with 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for divers and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable light for diving, snorkeling, or nighttime exploration. For example, its IP68 rating supports dives up to 100 meters, while the 8-hour low mode ensures extended use for exploration, though the rotary switch UI requires practice to toggle between Low, Medium, and High modes, and the lack of onboard charging necessitates carrying an external charger. The 360-degree RGB light enhances visibility and team coordination, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to maintain performance. The SD08’s affordable price, included battery, and waterproof design make it a practical choice for underwater scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for charging logistics and switch familiarity.
