Description
The Wurkkos D1 is a canister dive light for cave, wreck and technical diving. The lamp head sits on a Goodman handle. Power sits in a separate canister on a cable, so the light is easy to aim with gloves on.
Maximum output is 6000 lumens. Maximum throw is 500 m. Peak intensity is 62500 cd. Beam angles are 8° spot and 72° flood. Depth rating is 150 m. The body is IPX8 with 1.5 m impact resistance and is built from hard-anodized AL6061-T6 aluminium with a triple-seal system.
Four light sources sit in one triangular head:
- High-intensity white spot for long-range work
- Wide 72° flood for photo and video
- 660 nm red for close marine viewing
- 365 nm UV (850 mW) for fluorescence
A magnetic rotary switch on the head selects modes. One-handed brightness control works with gloves. The head has a power indicator: steady green 75–100%, flashing green 50–75%, steady red 25–50%, flashing red under 25%. Smart temperature control holds output instead of dumping it immediately.
The canister is 55.6 mm × 140.2 mm and holds a 31700 mAh battery. Charge on USB-C. USB-A output lets the canister act as a power bank on land. Four green LEDs show remaining power. A blue LED shows charging.
