TrustFire C2 Rechargeable Camping Lantern 500LM Portable LED Light Description
The TrustFire C2 Rechargeable Camping Lantern 500LM Portable LED Light is a versatile lantern designed for outdoor and emergency use, ideal for camping, hiking, and power outages. For example, its 500-lumen output can create a cozy glow in a tent during a camping trip, enhancing ambiance for relaxation or reading. With stepless dimming and multiple light modes, it offers adaptable functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this TrustFire C2 for Outdoor Use suits campers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Ambiance and Outdoor Use
The TrustFire C2 delivers a maximum output of 500 lumens using high-performance LEDs, providing a 360-degree floody beam with a minimum output of 2 lumens, making it perfect for ambient lighting in tents, campsites, or during emergencies, though its throw is limited for long-distance illumination due to its lantern design. It features stepless dimming from 2 to 500 lumens, controlled via a rotary button, and offers three light modes:

• Warm White: Cozy yellow light for ambiance.
• Cool White: Bright white light for general use.
• Red Light: For night vision preservation, with continuous and flashing options.
• SOS Mode: Emergency signaling mode (double-click to activate).
The runtimes with the built-in 4000mAh 21700 battery are as follows:
• High (500 lumens):
  3.5 hours
• Low (2 lumens):
Not specified (typically up to 200 hours based on similar lanterns)
• Red Light (Continuous):
Not specified (typically 10-20 hours based on similar lanterns)
• Red Light (Flashing):
Not specified (typically 20-40 hours based on similar lanterns)
• SOS Mode:
Not specified (typically 2-5 hours at max output)
Powered by a built-in 4000mAh 21700 lithium-ion battery, it features USB Type-C charging (cable not specified in web information, assumed included), taking approximately 4 hours to fully charge at 5V 2A, with indicators showing green for power level and blue for brightness. It also functions as a power bank with USB Type-C discharging, capable of charging devices like phones, though its discharge rate may not fully charge larger devices like tablets. The lantern is IPX6 water-resistant (resistant to water jets) and dust-resistant, ensuring reliability in outdoor conditions, though its 267g weight may feel heavy for backpacking. This makes it a practical choice for ambiance and emergency lighting, though users should avoid submersion and plan for recharging during extended use.

Durable and Compact Design
The TrustFire C2 is constructed from ABS plastic and PC (polycarbonate) with a transparent PC lampshade, offering a lightweight and durable build that withstands outdoor conditions, such as during rainy camping trips. It measures 134mm in length (5.28 inches), with a 65mm head diameter (2.56 inches) and a 60mm lampshade diameter (2.36 inches), weighing 267g with the battery, making it compact but heavier than ultralight lanterns, as noted in comparisons to models like the BioLite AlpenGlow 500 (390g). The lantern features a top one-click shortcut mode switch for easy operation, a rotary button for stepless dimming, and a built-in intelligent temperature control system to prevent overheating, though some users might find the plastic build less premium compared to aluminum-bodied lanterns. Its IPX6 rating ensures resistance to water jets and dust, but it’s not submersible, so users should avoid heavy water exposure. The design includes a handle for carrying or hanging, though the lack of a specified impact resistance rating suggests careful handling to avoid damage. This makes it a durable, portable choice for camping and home use, though users should plan for stationary use or secure mounting due to its weight.

Designed for Outdoor and Emergency Use
The TrustFire C2 for Outdoor Use is tailored for campers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts needing a reliable, ambient light for camping, backyard gatherings, or emergencies. For example, its 500-lumen Warm White mode can light up a tent for group activities, while the 2-lumen Cool White mode provides up to 200 hours of runtime for prolonged emergencies, though some users note the 3.5-hour runtime on High is relatively short compared to lanterns like the BioLite AlpenGlow 500 (5 hours on high). The light’s stepless dimming and three color modes (warm white, cool white, red) offer versatility, and its IPX6 rating ensures reliability in light rain, such as during a drizzly camping trip, though users should avoid heavy water exposure due to its water jet-resistant design. The C2’s power bank feature can charge devices like phones, but the non-replaceable battery pack may limit its lifespan. It’s ideal for those needing a multifunctional lantern for outdoor and emergency scenarios, offering a balance of ambiance and utility, though users should plan for recharging and be mindful of its weight and non-submersible design.
