Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Trustfire L2S-SE-UV features a 365nm UV LED, delivering a strong UV output, powered by either a single AA battery or a 14500 Li-ion battery with a USB port option. It offers multiple modes, controlled by a tail switch, with the following settings and runtimes:

• High: Approximately 45 minutes with 14500, 105 minutes with AA
• Low: Approximately 30 hours with 14500, 95 hours with AA
• Strobe: Runtime not specified
The flashlight does not have built-in charging for the AA option, while the 14500 with USB port allows direct charging, with runtime estimates based on battery type (AA alkaline or NiMH, or 14500 Li-ion). It has an IPX8 waterproof rating, suitable for submersion up to 2 meters, and features intelligent temperature control to manage heat, though prolonged use on high settings may generate heat, requiring careful handling.

Durable and Compact Design
The Trustfire L2S-SE-UV is constructed from durable aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized finish, offering corrosion resistance and durability for outdoor conditions like camping or inspections. It measures approximately 103mm in length with a head diameter of 22mm, weighing about 50g without the battery (approximately 70g with an AA or 14500 battery), making it ideal for pocket carry. The flashlight features a tail switch, a detachable stainless steel pocket clip, and a strong lanyard, though the clip may limit tailstanding stability.

Designed for Outdoor and Specialized Use
The Trustfire L2S-SE-UV Flashlight with AA or 14500 Battery Options for Outdoor Use is tailored for outdoor enthusiasts, inspectors, and EDC users needing a reliable light for UV detection, emergencies, or outdoor activities. For example, its 95-hour low mode with an AA battery ensures extended runtime for inspections, while the UV capability is perfect for specialized tasks, and the 14500 with USB port option simplifies charging on the go. The tail switch UI requires practice to cycle through modes (click for on/off, double-click for strobe), and the dual-battery compatibility requires careful selection (AA for simplicity, 14500 for higher output and charging). The robust construction and IPX8 rating enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its UV intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to prevent corrosion. The L2S-SE-UV’s affordable price, included pocket clip, and battery flexibility make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for heat management and external charging for the AA option.

Note: Ensure the flashlight is turned off after use to prevent accidental activation, which could drain the battery; the tail switch can be sensitive—ensure it is fully off when not in use. Use a compatible AA (alkaline or NiMH) or 14500 Li-ion battery with USB port (selected at checkout) with proper polarity (positive terminal toward the head), and remove the insulating film from the 14500 before use or charging. The IPX8 rating supports submersion up to 2 meters but is not suitable for prolonged diving; avoid submersion beyond this limit. Handle with care during High mode to avoid burns due to heat buildup, and do not shine the light directly into eyes due to its UV intensity. Store in a dry place to maintain reliability, and rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure to prevent corrosion.
