The Sofirn SD05 3000 Lumen 270m Throw Rechargeable Diving Flashlight with 21700 Battery is a compact, specialized light designed for underwater use, ideal for scuba diving, snorkeling, and emergency underwater tasks. For example, its 3000-lumen output can illuminate a path up to 270 meters underwater, ensuring reliable visibility. With a magnetic ring switch interface, a robust build, and included external charging, it offers practical functionality. Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SD05 for Outdoor Use suits divers and underwater enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Sofirn SD05 features a Cree XHP50.2 LED with a color temperature of 6000K-6500K, delivering a maximum output of 3000 lumens with a beam throw of 270 meters, powered by an included 21700 Li-ion battery (4000mAh). It offers multiple modes, controlled by a magnetic ring switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

• Turbo: 3000 lumens for approximately 1 hour
• High: 1000 lumens for approximately 2 hours
• Medium: 300 lumens for approximately 5 hours
• Low: 100 lumens for approximately 8 hours
The flashlight requires an external charger for the included 21700 battery, with charging time varying based on the charger (approximately 3-4 hours with a standard charger), and includes a battery indicator via the switch. It is IPX8 waterproof (suitable for depths up to 100 meters) and features a design without a timed step-down, though it may warm up during extended use, requiring careful handling.

Durable and Compact Design
The Sofirn SD05 is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy with a hard-anodized finish, offering durability and corrosion resistance for underwater conditions like scuba diving or snorkeling. It measures 119mm in length (4.69 inches) with a head diameter of 37.5mm (1.48 inches), weighing 120g without the battery (approximately 160g with the included 21700 battery), making it portable for dive gear. The flashlight features a toughened glass lens, a magnetic ring switch, and a lanyard hole for added security, though its length may require secure attachment to avoid loss underwater.

Designed for Outdoor and Diving Use
The Sofirn SD05 3000 Lumen 270m Throw Rechargeable Diving Flashlight with 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for divers and underwater enthusiasts needing a reliable light for diving, snorkeling, or emergency underwater tasks. For example, its IPX8 rating supports dives up to 100 meters, while the 8-hour low mode ensures extended use for exploration, though the magnetic ring switch UI requires practice to rotate through modes (left to right: Low, Medium, High, Turbo), and the lack of onboard charging necessitates carrying an external charger. The robust construction and double O-ring sealing enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity and rinse it with fresh water after use to maintain performance. The SD05’s affordable price, included battery, and waterproof design make it a practical choice for underwater scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for charging logistics and switch familiarity.

Use the included 21700 battery with proper polarity (positive terminal toward the head), and remove the insulating paper before first use. The IPX8 rating supports submersion up to 100 meters, but clean with fresh water and lubricate O-rings after each dive to maintain waterproofing. Handle with care during Turbo mode to avoid burns due to heat buildup, and do not shine the light directly into eyes due to its intensity. Store in a dry place to maintain reliability, and avoid dropping on sandy surfaces to protect the switch.
