Featuring a 1-year warranty, this Sofirn SK40 for Outdoor Use suits tactical users, campers, and EDC enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for Outdoor Use
The Sofirn SK40 features a Luminus SFT70 LED, delivering a maximum output of 3200 lumens with a beam throw of 580 meters, powered by an included 21700 Li-ion battery (5000mAh). It offers multiple modes across two settings, controlled by a clicky tail switch and side e-switch, with the following lumen outputs and runtimes:

• Duty Mode:
  • Eco: 10 lumens for approximately 50 hours
  • Low: 100 lumens for approximately 10 hours
  • Medium: 500 lumens for approximately 3 hours
  • High: 1500 lumens for approximately 1.5 hours
  • Turbo: 3200 lumens for approximately 1 hour (steps down after 30 seconds)
• Tactical Mode:
  • Turbo: 3200 lumens for approximately 1 hour
  • Strobe: 3200 lumens (runtime not specified)
The flashlight charges via a built-in USB-C port in the head, taking about 4 hours with a 5V/2A charger, with an indicator displaying voltage for 5 seconds after turning on (green for 70-100%, red for 30-70%, red flashing for 0-30%). It is IP68 waterproof (submersible to 2m) and includes a boost driver for consistent output, though it may get warm on Turbo, requiring careful handling.

Durable and Compact Design
The Sofirn SK40 is constructed from AL6061-T6 aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized finish, offering durability for rugged outdoor conditions like patrolling or camping. It measures 146.5mm in length (5.77 inches) with a head diameter of 40mm (1.57 inches), weighing 132g without the battery (approximately 182g with the included 21700 battery), making it suitable for EDC or jacket pocket carry. The flashlight features a smooth reflector, dual switches (clicky tail switch for on/off, side e-switch for modes), and a pocket clip for secure carry, though the clip may snag on fabric, suggesting careful placement.

Designed for Outdoor and Tactical Use
The Sofirn SK40 3200 Lumen 580m Throw Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight with 21700 Battery for Outdoor Use is tailored for tactical users, campers, and EDC enthusiasts needing a reliable, long-throw light for outdoor activities, emergencies, or tactical scenarios. For example, its 580m throw can light up distant targets during a patrol, while the 50-hour Eco mode ensures extended use for reading, though the dual-switch UI requires practice to switch between Duty and Tactical modes, and the lack of a lockout function necessitates unscrewing the tailcap to prevent accidental activation. The IP68 rating, USB-C charging, and dual springs enhance its reliability, but users should avoid direct eye exposure due to its intensity. The SK40’s affordable price, included battery, and tactical design make it a practical choice for outdoor scenarios, offering a balance of power and convenience, though users should plan for UI familiarity and heat management.
