Thrunite T1S 1212LM 184m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight Description
The Thrunite T1S 1212LM 184m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight is a compact, high-performance light designed for everyday carry, ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency use. For example, its 1212-lumen output with a 184m throw can illuminate a trail during a night hike, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. With stepless dimming and a magnetic tailcap, it offers versatile functionality. Featuring a 2-year warranty, this Thrunite T1S for Outdoor Use suits campers, hikers, and EDC enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for EDC and Outdoor Use
The Thrunite T1S delivers a maximum output of 1212 lumens using a CREE XHP50 LED, with a beam throw of 184m and a peak intensity of 8450 candela, making it ideal for short to medium-range illumination in EDC or outdoor scenarios. It features six modes, including Firefly, Turbo, and Strobe, with stepless dimming for customizable brightness, accessible via a single side switch:

• Turbo: Brightest setting for maximum visibility.
• Infinity High: High output for sustained use.
• Infinity Low: Lower output for longer runtime.
• Firefly: Minimal light for extended use.
• Low: Energy-saving mode for prolonged use.
• Strobe: Disorienting flash for emergencies.
The runtimes with the included 1100mAh 18350 battery are as follows:
• Turbo (1212 lumens):
  2 minutes
Drops to 300 lumens: 70 minutes
• Infinity High (693 lumens):
  5 minutes
Drops to 300 lumens: 72 minutes
• Infinity Low (15 lumens):
  36 hours
• Firefly (0.5 lumens):
  7 days
• Low (15 lumens):
  36 hours
• Strobe (693 lumens):
  2 hours
Powered by a 1100mAh 18350 lithium-ion battery (included), it features a built-in USB-C charging port (cable included), taking approximately 1 hour to fully charge at 1A, with an indicator showing blue (>21%), red (11-20%), or flashing red (<10%). The flashlight is IPX8 waterproof (submersible to 2m) and impact-resistant to 1.5m, ensuring reliability in harsh conditions, though its 62g weight without battery (approximately 91g with battery) makes it lightweight for EDC. This makes it a versatile choice for everyday carry and outdoor use, though users should note the brief Turbo mode runtime and plan for recharging during extended use.

Durable and Compact Design
The Thrunite T1S is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-anodized black finish, ensuring durability and resistance to wear in rugged outdoor conditions. It measures 69.5mm in length (2.74 inches), with a 26.5mm head diameter (1.04 inches) and 22mm body diameter (0.87 inches), weighing 62g without the battery, making it highly portable for EDC. The flashlight features a magnetic tailcap for hands-free use on metal surfaces, a dual-direction pocket clip for versatile carry (tip-up or tip-down), and a lanyard hole for additional carrying options, though some users note the clip’s tension may loosen over time with frequent use, as mentioned in reviews on Amazon.com. Its IPX8 rating ensures it can withstand submersion, making it suitable for rainy conditions, and the stepless dimming allows precise brightness adjustment, though the lack of a tail switch can limit instant mode access compared to dual-switch designs, as noted in user feedback on 1lumen.com. This makes it a durable, compact choice for EDC and outdoor use, though users should use the lockout function (press the switch four times quickly to lock/unlock) to prevent accidental activation and plan for recharging due to the lack of battery swap options in the field.

Designed for Outdoor and EDC Use
The Thrunite T1S for Outdoor Use is tailored for campers, hikers, and EDC enthusiasts needing a reliable, compact flashlight for everyday carry, outdoor activities, or emergencies. For example, its 1212-lumen Turbo mode with a 184m throw can light up a campsite, while the 0.5-lumen Firefly mode provides up to 7 days of runtime for extended emergencies, though some users on Amazon.com report the Turbo mode’s heat generation can cause it to step down after 2 minutes, which may limit its use for sustained high-output tasks. The light’s stepless dimming (15-693 lumens) offers flexibility, and its IPX8 rating ensures reliability in wet conditions, such as during rainy hikes, though the 1.5m impact resistance is moderate, so users should avoid drops. The T1S’s balanced beam pattern is ideal for close to medium-range tasks, but its throw is limited compared to dedicated throwers like the Thrunite Catapult Mini, as noted in user comparisons on Reddit. It’s perfect for those needing a bright, portable EDC light for outdoor and emergency scenarios, offering a balance of power and runtime, though users should plan for recharging, be mindful of the heat on Turbo mode, and consider the clip’s tension for secure carry.
