A rotary selector picks the beam. A side button runs the levels. The head tilts up to 115°. The clip turns 360° and opens to about 14 mm. Olight rates the clip and the rotation at 10 000 cycles each. Magnets on the back and the base, plus a lanyard hole, give other hands-free options. An OclipBeat indicator changes colour as total use time builds.
The light uses a built-in, non-removable 600 mAh lithium-polymer cell. Charge it by USB-C, on the dock, or with an MCC cable sold separately. Drop the light into the dock and the magnetic contact starts charging. A display shows the level of the light and the dock. The dock is 1 000 mAh and charges by USB-C.
The light alone is 60.2 mm × 28 mm × 35 mm and weighs 79.5 g. On the dock the set is about 92 mm × 32 mm × 38 mm and about 142 g. Body is OAL aluminium. The light is IP66 and rated for a 2 m drop. The dock is IPX6 and rated for a 1 m drop. Listed colours are onyx black, amber orange and olive green.
Clip it for a walk, set red in a tent, or use UV for stains and documents, then park it on the dock. Do not look into the UV or the white beam. Do not shine UV on skin or eyes. IP66 is for heavy spray, not diving.
