Description
The Olight PL-X GL is a rail light with three sources: a flood beam, a spot beam, and a Class 3R green laser. It keeps the PL-X body, so most holsters cut for the PL-X also fit the GL. It is not an X300 or TLR-1 shape.
Flood opens at 1 200 lumens and 2 255 cd. Spot opens at 900 lumens, 16 900 cd and 260 metres. The laser is 510–530 nm, under 5 mW, and can run alone or with either white beam. High steps down. The long times are the low settings.

Laser only is listed at up to 9 hours. There is no SOS and no beacon.
A three-position selector under the body picks white, laser, or both. A side rocker picks flood or spot. Ambidextrous paddles turn the light on. A double tap changes high and low. Both paddles together, or a triple tap, starts strobe. A four-dot indicator on top shows charge.
The cell is a built-in, non-removable 3.7 V 620 mAh lithium-polymer pack. USB-C recharge is about 80 minutes. Body is 6061-T6 aluminium. Size is about 63.5 mm × 30.5 mm × 32 mm. Weight is 88 g with the battery. Rating is IPX7 and a 1.5 m drop. Olight lists a 10 000-round live-fire test.
The 1913 Picatinny insert ships installed. A Glock-style insert is in the box. A ratcheting screw clamp locks the light. Confirm zero after mounting. Do not look into the laser. Class 3R is not a toy. Check local rules before fitting a laser to a firearm. Use a holster cut for the PL-X pattern.

Any pistol, PCC or carbine with one of those rails can take the clamp. Reviewers have seated this light on a Glock 19 Gen 5, Glock 19 Gen 6, Glock 45 Gen 6, Glock 17, Ruger RXM, Springfield Echelon full-size, Canik MC9 Prime, SIG P365 XMacro and S&W Shield EZ .380. That is a fit check, not an official model list. A short rail or a non-standard dust cover can still foul the trigger guard. Check clearance before you buy a holster.
