Thrunite TC15 V3 2403LM 223m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight Description
The Thrunite TC15 V3 2403LM 223m Throw Rechargeable EDC Flashlight is a compact, high-performance light designed for everyday carry, ideal for camping, hiking, and emergency use. For example, its 2403-lumen output with a 223m throw can illuminate a trail during a night hike, ensuring visibility in low-light conditions. With USB-C charging and a rugged aluminum build, it offers reliable functionality. Featuring a 2-year warranty, this Thrunite TC15 V3 for Outdoor Use suits campers, hikers, and EDC enthusiasts.

Powerful Illumination for EDC and Outdoor Use
The Thrunite TC15 V3 delivers a maximum output of 2403 lumens using a CREE XHP35.2 LED, with a beam throw of 223m and a peak intensity of 12,420 candela, making it ideal for medium-range illumination in EDC or outdoor scenarios. It features six brightness modes, including Firefly, Turbo, and Strobe, accessible via a single side switch:

• Turbo: Brightest setting for maximum visibility.
• High: Strong illumination for sustained use.
• Medium: Balanced output for general tasks.
• Low: Energy-saving mode for longer runtime.
• Firefly: Minimal light for extended use.
• Strobe: Disorienting flash for emergencies.
The runtimes with the included 3100mAh 18650 IMR battery are as follows:
• Turbo (2403 lumens):
  2.3 minutes
Drops to 732 lumens: 106 minutes
• High (1057 lumens):
  1.6 minutes
Drops to 754 lumens: 108 minutes
• Medium (330 lumens):
  4.6 hours
• Low (34 lumens):
  50 hours
• Firefly (1 lumen):
  30 days
• Strobe (1040 lumens):
  190 minutes
Powered by a 3100mAh 18650 IMR battery (included), it features a built-in USB-C charging port (cable included), taking approximately 2 hours to fully charge, with an indicator showing red during charging, blue when complete, and flashing purple for abnormal charging. The flashlight is IPX8 waterproof (submersible to 2m) and impact-resistant to 1.5m, ensuring reliability in harsh conditions, though its 71g weight without battery (approximately 113g with battery) makes it lightweight for EDC. This makes it a versatile choice for everyday carry and outdoor use, though users should note the brief Turbo mode runtime and plan for recharging during extended use.

Durable and Compact Design
The Thrunite TC15 V3 is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy (6061-T6) with a Type III hard-anodized black finish, ensuring durability and resistance to wear in rugged outdoor conditions. It measures 122.5mm in length (4.8 inches), with a 27mm head diameter (1.06 inches) and 23.5mm body diameter (0.93 inches), weighing 71g without the battery, making it pocket-friendly for EDC. The flashlight features an orange peel reflector for a balanced beam with a medium hotspot and wide spill, ideal for illuminating large areas, and includes a grippy, non-slip knurling design for a secure hold, though some users note the switch can be hard to differentiate from the charging port by feel, as mentioned in web information. It has a dual-direction pocket clip for versatile carry (tip-up or tip-down) and a lanyard hole, though the clip’s placement may not allow for deep carry, as noted in user feedback on Amazon.com. Its IPX8 rating ensures it can withstand submersion, making it suitable for rainy conditions, though users should avoid prolonged submersion beyond 2m. This makes it a durable, compact choice for EDC and outdoor use, though users should use the lockout function (long press for 3 seconds from off to enter Firefly, then hold to lock) to prevent accidental activation and plan for recharging due to the lack of battery swap options in the field.

Designed for Outdoor and EDC Use
The Thrunite TC15 V3 for Outdoor Use is tailored for campers, hikers, and EDC enthusiasts needing a reliable, compact flashlight for everyday carry, outdoor activities, or emergencies. For example, its 2403-lumen Turbo mode with a 223m throw can light up a campsite, while the 1-lumen Firefly mode provides up to 30 days of runtime for extended emergencies, though some users on Amazon.com report the Turbo mode’s heat generation can cause it to step down after 2.3 minutes, which may limit its use for sustained high-output tasks. The light’s six modes offer versatility, and its IPX8 rating ensures reliability in wet conditions, such as during rainy hikes, though the 1.5m impact resistance is moderate, so users should avoid drops. The TC15 V3’s balanced beam pattern is ideal for close to medium-range tasks, but its throw is limited compared to dedicated throwers like the Thrunite Catapult V6, as noted in user comparisons on Reddit. It’s perfect for those needing a bright, portable EDC light for outdoor and emergency scenarios, offering a balance of power and runtime, though users should plan for recharging, be mindful of the heat on Turbo mode, and consider the clip’s placement for deeper carry.
