Description
The ThruNite T5 is a small clip-on pocket light for keys, a cap brim, a pack strap or a metal surface. It weighs 65 g and measures 62 × 39 × 18 mm. White output is 523 lumens with an 83 m throw and 1750 cd. A second emitter gives red, green and blue for signalling.
The head turns 180°, so you can point the beam forward, down or back without twisting the body. A pocket clip, lanyard hole and magnetic base give hands-free options: clip it to a hat, hang it from keys, stick it to a car panel or a tool cabinet.
White modes are Firefly, Low, Medium, High, Turbo and Strobe. RGB modes are red, green, blue and an alternating red/blue flash. A rotary selector chooses lock, white or RGB. The centre button then runs the light. Lock the dial before it goes in a pocket.
USB-C charging sits under a rubber cover. The indicator is red while charging and blue when full. The tested cell is a ThruNite 500 mAh rechargeable battery. Working voltage is 2.8–4.2 V. The lens is PMMA TIR. Rating is IPX-6 waterproof and 1 m impact.

How to use it
- Rotate the dial to unlock. The light only works unlocked.
- White: single click on/off. Hold to cycle Low / Medium / High. Double-click for Turbo. Triple-click for Strobe. From off, hold for Firefly.
- RGB: single click on/off. Hold to cycle Red / Blue / Green. Double-click for red/blue flash. From off, hold to blink the last RGB mode.
- Charge: lift the rubber cover, plug USB-C. Red = charging. Blue = full.
Do not shine it in eyes. Keep it away from children. ThruNite does not recommend running max mode for more than ten minutes, to protect the battery, driver and LED.
